Hyundai i20 N Line
Targeted at young population who want more than just a daily driver, yet want a car that can be used everyday, the i20 N Line is the perfect marriage of premium comfort and peppy performance. Inspired by the company’s Motorsport division and with a keen focus on bringing performance closer to the masses, the i20 N Line does look similar to the current i20 on sale, however the revised front grille, sporty accents and twin tip muffler clearly tell you that this car is more than just a premium hatch.
The sporty appeal of the i20 N Line carries over to the cabin as well where you find a chequered flag design leather seats with the N logo, athletic red interior highlights, sporty metal pedals and a neat 3-spoke steering wheel with the N logo.
Under the hood of the car is the 998cc turbo GDI engine that delivers 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of peak torque. This engine is capable of taking the i20 N Line up to 100 km/h in just 9.9 seconds. Transmission options include a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed iMT.
Hyundai has tweaked the suspension as well as the steering to offer more input and a slightly firmer ride in order to enhance the overall handling dynamics of the car. In addition to that, you also get disc brakes on all four wheels, electronic stability control, hill assist control and vehicle stability management.
