Now that Jeep has finally announced the pricing, we can safely state that they got it spot on! Starting from INR 14.95 lakh and going up to INR 20.65 lakh, the Compass is an amazing value for money proposition that is bound to turn the fortunes for FCA in the country.

Commenting on the launch and price announcement, Kevin Flynn – President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “Due to the overwhelming public response to the Jeep Compass, coupled with a significant number of pre-bookings and enquiries we decided to advance the price announcement so that potential customers can finalize their purchase decisions. We will start retails on August 6, 2017. Analyzing our pre-bookings data it has made sense for us to prioritize the deliveries of diesel manual transmission variants. We will deliver petrol automatic transmission variants closer to Diwali.”
The Jeep Compass is styled to look like a scaled down Grand Cherokee and the appeal factor is rather high on that front. It is a mid-size SUV that delivers a premium fit and finish and it retains the DNA of the Jeep brand with its tough sporty styling and go-anywhere capability. Apart from its head-turning looks, the Compass also boasts of over 50 safety and security features, pioneering technologies and is also offered with both petrol and diesel engine options that are touted to be rather powerful and frugal. The petrol version is powered by a 1.4 litre Multi-Air Turbo engine that delivers 162 PS while the 2.0 litre MultiJet diesel engine delivers 173 PS.
The variants and pricing of the Jeep Compass
Available in three trims and ten variants, the Jeep Compass will be retailed out of 50 sales outlets across 47 cities, while Mopar will handle all the authorized service outlets. In addition to that, the Jeep Compass will be available with a three year / 100,000 km warranty and complimentary road side assistance.
