A 1040 hp race truck thanks to Tata Motors!
Tata Motors T1 Prima Race Truck with a 1040 hp Cummins diesel engine
The fourth season of the Tata Motors T1 Prima Truck Championship was the perfect venue for the company to unveil this beast. Co-developed by Cherwell Trucks Limited, this full blown race truck runs a 12 litre Cummins diesel engine that makes 1040hp and 3500 Nm of torque. I can go from 0-167 kilometres an hour in a little over 10 seconds and is the fastest truck to ever lap the Buddh International Circuit. Will we see it race? New Force Gurkha variants
2017 Force Motors Gurkha
Force Motors has updated their Gurkha in order to further its prospects in the market. The highly capable off roader looks even more like the Mercedes-Benz G Wagen now and is now on offer in two variants, namely the three-door Xplorer and the five-door Xpedition. Both run the tried and tested OM0616 diesel engine which is now BS IV compliant and needless to say, all the goodies are on board to ensure you can take this machine anywhere.

We visited the Heritage Transport Museum and stumbled across this unique custom job on a Royal Enfield Bullet. Unlike what we’ve seen in the market till date, this display piece happens to be encrusted with crystals! Why you ask? Well, according to the little sign placed next to it, this is a tribute to the iconic bike and the crystals represent the love and affection that enthusiasts have showered on the Bullet over the years! That sure is one way to make a statement don’t you think!

India Baja will now be a feeder race to the Dakar Rally
Northern Motorsport has tied up with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) – the promoters of the legendary Dakar Rally in order to elevate cross-country rallying to an international stature here in India. The India Baja 2017 has been granted the status of being a Dakar Challenge event and the winners will get a free entry to the upcoming Dakar Rally. This is great news for Indian rallyists as they now have a platform that can launch their careers to a global level. India Baja 2017 kicks off on the 7th of April and over 70 competitors have already lined up to take part. Let’s see who wins!
