The Multistrada 1260 Enduro comes with a 1262cc Ducati Testastretta DVT engine that delivers outstanding pulling power of 158 PS and is known for its low and mid rev range. In fact, 85 per cent of the maximum torque (128 Nm) is available below 3,500 rpm, which makes it easy to manage in less than ideal riding conditions and also ensures you have the right amount of power to pull through. You also get multiple riding modes and the Ducati Quick Shift to further enhance the riding experience.
The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro is built to offer the ultimate riding experience as it boasts of a high level of comfort that includes the revised ergonomics of the seat, handlebar and suspension set up. The bike also has a lower centre of gravity for better balance and ride dynamics. Further to this, the Multistrada comes equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels. The semi-active Sachs suspension allows for great travel thus soaking up undulations. The bike also boasts of a 30 litre fuel tank that gives it a riding range of 450 km.
Ducati has kitted out the bike with an advanced electronics package that includes the new 6-axis Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Bosch ABS Cornering, Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC). Add to that, you also get vehicle hold control which makes it easier for uphill starts. Other bits of kit include the 5 inch TFT colour Ducati Multimedia System that gives you access to calls, texts and music.
With oil changes required every 15,000 km and Desmo Service required only every 30,000 km, the Multistrada 1260 Enduro is a low maintenance bike. It has been priced at INR 19.99 lakh for the Ducati Red variant and INR 20.23 lakh for the Sand coloured one.
