Ducati India has brought the latest version of the hot selling Multistrada to the country. It is a bike that has been built to deliver unmistakable riding characteristics that only a Ducati can offer. To start with, the biggest element that has changed is the ergonomics of the bike which has greatly improved overall comfort under various riding conditions that include urban runabouts, touring or a longer commute. The seat has been modified in shape to allow the rider to move easily along the longitudinal axis and is now narrower and more comfortable. This feature, together with a reduction of the height by 10 mm makes it much easier to place your feet on the ground when the bike is stationary and allows you to make confident manoeuvres even when fully loaded.
The riding position is now more comfortable with the new foot pegs inherited from the Multistrada V4 which, thanks to a 10 mm increase in distance from the seat, ensure the right amount of room for taller riders, preventing them from bending their legs excessively, and thus allowing a more comfortable position during long journeys.
The engine of the Multistrada V2 is the tried and tested 937 cc Ducati Testastretta 11° twin cylinder with desmodromic distribution. This engine delivers 113 horsepower and approximately 100Nm of maximum torque. The Multistrada V2 offers four riding modes, which include Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. Each of these modes benefits from the Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit platform that works with ABS cornering as well. Overall, this works to improve rider control and deliver an exhilarating and safe riding experience.
The Multistrada V2 is priced at INR 14.65 Lakh, while the Multistrada V2 S starts at INR 16.65 lakh
